Is BetRivers' casino app separate from the sportsbook app?
No. In the US, BetRivers casino and sportsbook ship as one app in both stores. The store records, read on 3 October 2026, set side by side.
No. In the United States the BetRivers casino and the BetRivers sportsbook are one app, not two. The US App Store and Google Play listings are both titled BetRivers: Casino & Sportsbook, and the App Store copy carries one 21+ footer covering 15 states. The other builds in the store records this desk read are a Canadian record and PlaySugarHouse.
That is the short answer to “is the BetRivers casino app separate from the sportsbook app”. The longer one is in the store records, which this desk read on 3 October 2026. No install was timed and none is claimed; this is a reading of the file, not a bench run.
The file
Does BetRivers use a different app for each state?
Not on the current record. The US App Store listing ends with one line: must be 21+ and present in AZ, CO, DE, IA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, WV. Fifteen states, one record, one 218.1 MB binary.
Rush Street Interactive’s US developer page on the App Store lists two apps: BetRivers: Casino & Sportsbook and PlaySugarHouse Casino & Sports. Neither is named for a state.
That matters because the search results disagree. BettingUSA’s sportsbook review says BetRivers runs a different version of the app in each state; Sports Handle’s says players do not need separate versions by location. The current store records side with Sports Handle. They do not prove BetRivers never shipped per-state builds in the past, and this desk does not claim it.
One caveat the footer leaves open: it lists states, not products by state. It does not say where the casino runs and where only the sportsbook does. One binary does not mean one product menu everywhere.
Is the BetRivers casino app separate from the sportsbook app on Android?
No. The Google Play listing, package com.rush.ri, opens with the same copy as Apple’s: the online casino, the sportsbook and iRush Rewards, in one app. It is rated Adults only 18+ and shows 500K+ downloads. One search result pointed at this package with an hl=en_US parameter and returned a 404 to the search phase; the same package opens at 200 with hl=en and gl=US. The listing is live.
The developer name is printed differently on each store: Rush Street Interactive LLC on Apple, Rush Street Interactive, LP on Play.
Where the real splits are
They run by country and by brand, not by product.
Canada has its own record. The Canadian App Store listing, id1594144135, is a different binary at 173 MB, and its copy says the sportsbook sits in the same app as the casino.
The second split is PlaySugarHouse, Rush Street’s other US app. Its listing says that in Pennsylvania you can bet on sports and play the online casino in it. So a Pennsylvania player can meet two Rush Street apps that each bundle both products. That is a brand split, not a casino-versus-sportsbook one.
The same question has its own post for BetMGM, DraftKings and FanDuel, each answered from that operator’s own store records. For BetRivers the store records show one app, with the splits elsewhere.

FAQ
Do I need different BetRivers apps to use the online casino, sportsbook, and play poker?
Not for casino and sportsbook in the US: both run in the one BetRivers: Casino & Sportsbook listing on the App Store and on Google Play. The store copy this desk read lists video poker among the casino games. It says nothing about a separate peer-to-peer poker product, and this desk makes no claim about one.
Does BetRivers use a different app for each state?
Not on the current store records. The US App Store listing read on 3 October 2026 carries one footer naming 15 states, and Rush Street Interactive’s US developer page lists two apps, neither of them state-specific. Older per-state builds may have existed; the current listings show one US app, plus a separate Canadian record.
Can I use the same BetRivers account for casino and sportsbook?
The listings describe the casino, the sportsbook and the iRush Rewards programme inside one app, which points that way. They do not spell out account rules, though. Those sit in the operator’s terms, which this desk did not read for this piece, so treat the terms page, not the store blurb, as the authority.
One settings note, as in every review here: in a bundled app the casino tile is one tap from the bet slip, so set the deposit limit and session reminder before either. Store facts above are as the listings read on 3 October 2026; availability varies by jurisdiction; the listings are rated 18+, and the US footer requires 21+.
